Is there a GAA+ App that I need to download?

Even though we do have mobile and on-tv apps available you do not need to download one of them in order to watch GAA+ content, you can access content directly on our website https://www.gaaplus.ie/ on a phone, iPad/tablet, laptop/PC.

Should you prefer to access content via a mobile or on-tv app:

Mobile Apps:

You can either watch content directly on our mobile apps (available to download on iOS and Android devices through the Google Play / App Store) on the mobile device you have it installed on or cast from them to a TV via Google Chromecast or Apple Airplay.

To cast from the mobile app to your TV:

1. Download the GAA+ mobile app on your mobile device from the Google Play (Android) or App store (iOS)

2. Ensure the device you are accessing our mobile app on, your casting device and tv are all connected to the same internet connection

3. Click into the item of content you wish to watch, once the steam is playing, tap the screen and click the casting icon (box with waves located in top left-hand corner of the screen).

*If the icon remains greyed out (see below) and tapping on it does not cause anything to happen, your casting device is not being picked up. Please ensure all devices are connected to the same internet source and that your casting device is set up correctly as per the manufacturer's instructions.

4. After clicking on the casting icon you should be provided with a list to select your TV / casting device from.

5. After a few seconds content should display on your TV screen.

TV Apps:

You can watch GAA+ directly on your tv via one of our on-tv apps (Roku, Apple TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Samsung TV, LG TV).

1. Search for the GAA+ app on the app store on your tv (you must have Roku, Apple TV, Google TV and Fire TV)

2. Download the GAA+ app

3. Upon opening the app on your tv for the first time, you will be required to approve the login on a second device, either on our website or via the mobile app.

To do so on our website, login using the email address and password associated with your GAA+ account then go to LINK TO PAIR and enter the 6-digit code displayed on your TV screen in the provided field.

On the mobile app, login using the email address and password associated with your GAA+ account then click on the cog wheel symbol (in the top right-hand corner of the screen), select 'Pair TV' and enter the 6-digit code displayed on your tv screen in the spaces provided.

**Please note that we do not officially support smart TV internet browsers therefore if you are accessing our service via this method we cannot guarantee it will work without issues**
