IE & GB Based Users - Accessing All-Ireland Finals Abroad

Modified on Sun, 27 Jul at 2:56 PM

If you are ordinarily based on the island of Ireland (NI & ROI) or Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) where the All-Ireland Semi and Final games are blocked from view on our service due to viewing rights restrictions in place in those territories, but are outside of those territories at the time of the All-Ireland games, you will be able to access the gameson our service once your location is read correctly but may run into some issues if you are attempting to access our service whilst connected to a mobile data (roaming) connection.

The reason for this is whilst roaming, your network still provides you with an Irish/British IP address so it will read that you are in IE/UK, not the country you are currently in.

To ensure your location is read correctly please follow these steps:

1. Turn off mobile data on your device

2. Connect to a local Wi-Fi source

3. If using the website clear your browser cookies and cache, refresh the page then log back into the site

4. If using the app, close it, follow steps 1 & 2 and reopen the app

If after following these steps you have any issues accessing the game(s) please do not hesitate toemail our Support Team on help@gaaplus.ie

Pass Holders:

If you are an Annual Pass GB or Season Pass pass holder, access to these games is not included in your pass package, as such if you are outside those territories at the time of the games you should be able to access them on our service but need to purchase access additionally.
