To use GAA+, you’ll need a supported device and a strong, stable internet connection.

Supported devices and viewing methods

You can watch GAA+ on:

  • PC or laptop through the GAA+ website
  • Mobile phones and tablets/iPads through the GAA+ website or our supported iOS and Android apps
  • Smart TVs through the GAA+ TV apps available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV, Samsung TV and LG TV
  • TV via casting from the GAA+ mobile apps using Google Chromecast or Apple AirPlay

Search for “GAA+” in your device's app store to find and download the relevant app.

Please note:

  • GAA+ is not available on Sky Q.
  • We do not officially support accessing GAA+ through smart TV internet browsers, so we cannot guarantee the service will work correctly this way.

Supported operating systems

  • Mac: macOS 11 or later
  • iPhone and iPad: The latest iOS/iPadOS version or the previous version. We cannot guarantee compatibility with devices running versions older than iOS 17.
  • Windows: Intel i4 processor or higher, with at least 4GB of memory, running Windows 10 or later.
  • Android: Android OS 15 or later.

Internet requirements

A strong, stable internet connection is essential for a good GAA+ streaming experience. We recommend using Wi-Fi where possible, as mobile data (3G, 4G, 5G, LTE, etc.) can sometimes be too weak or variable for reliable streaming.

The minimum internet speeds below apply when only one device is connected and streaming over your home Wi-Fi:

Resolution

Minimum continuous speed

Best for

360p

5+ Mb/s

                          Smartphones and small tablets

720p

8+ Mb/s

                     Larger tablets and connected devices

1080p

12+ Mb/s

Some on-demand content on connected devices such as                                    Roku or Apple TV

1080p Live

25+ Mb/s

                              Most live GAA+ content

Mb/s means megabits per second.

For live GAA+ content, we recommend a minimum download speed of 25 Mb/s for a smooth streaming experience. If two people are streaming GAA+ at the same time, you should have at least 50 Mb/s available. Multiple connected devices using your home network will also increase the required bandwidth.

A ping of less than 100 ms is recommended for a good streaming experience.

You can check your internet speed using Speedtest. If your connection does not meet the recommended requirements, please contact your internet service provider for assistance.

Recommended web browser

If you are watching GAA+ through our website, we recommend using Google Chrome for the best streaming experience.

Internet Explorer is not supported. We also recommend avoiding outdated versions of Microsoft Edge and Safari, as they may cause streaming issues.
