How do I make sure my location is picked up correctly?

If you are ordinarily based on the island of Ireland (NI & ROI) or in Great Briatin (England, Scotland and Wales) where there are viewing restrictions in place for our service, you should be able to access content blocked from view on our service in those territories once your locastion is picked up correctly.


To ensire that:


1. Turn off mobile data on your device / don't connect to a mobile data connection

2. Connect to a local Wi-Fi source

3. If using the app please delete and uninstall it and allow location to be accessed with the pop-up that appears

4. If using the website clear your browser cookies and cache then log back into the site


If after following these steps you have any issues purchasing or accessing content please contact our support team.


The reason for the above steps is because whilst roaming, your network still provides you with an Irish/British IP address so it will read that you are in IE/UK, not the country you are currently in. Information can also be stored on your device, such as cookies, that can interfere with your location being picked up incorrectly.
