Clearing Cookies & Cache (Browser)

Starting a new session alleviates most issues you may experience with logging in or accessing content on our website.


For instance, if you go to log in on our website and are not provided with fields to fill in your email address and password, just the option to select 'I am not a robot,'  starting a new session will rectify the issue.




To start a new session:

1. You need to clear your browser cache and cookies and cache (see instructions below)

2. Close all other browser tabs and windows

3. Then open a new browser instance and try again


Also, you may want to try an alternate web browser in order to rule out any browser specific issue.


To clear your browser cookies and cache:


Please follow the instructions below that are relevant to the internet browser you are using


*Google Chrome* 

In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData 


Select the items you want to clear (e.g., Clear browsing history, Clear download history, Empty the cache, Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data) 


You can choose the period of time for which you want to clear cached information from the “Obliterate the following items from” drop-down menu. To clear your entire cache, select “the beginning of time” 


Click Clear browsing data 



*Firefox* 

From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History. 


From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range;  to clear your entire cache, select Everything. 


Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose which elements to clear 


Click Clear Now 



*Internet Explorer 8 and up*


From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History 


Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History 


Click Delete 


 

*Internet Explorer 7* 


From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options 


To delete your cache, click Delete files 


To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies 


To delete your history, click Delete history 


Click Close, and then click OK to exit 


 

*Safari* 

From the 3 lined button located in the upper right corner, click to open menu options 


Click History 


Click Clear Recent History 


Click Details dropdown 


Select Cache and Cookies 


Click Clear Now 

  


*Microsoft Edge* 

Click on the 3 lined button in the top right corner 


Click on the clock shaped history button 


Here you will be able to view your browsing history 


Click Clear History and then Show More 


Select Cache and Cookies 


Click Clear
